The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team plays a crucial role in our company. We are responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks that could hinder the company's operations or objectives. We bring together executive-level risk owners to manage the entire scope of an organization's risks more effectively. We also play a role in promoting a risk-aware culture within the company, by providing training and education to employees about risk management and encouraging them to identify and report potential risks. We develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks. This could involve implementing new processes, policies, or controls.

Get to know the Role

Assist the team in conducting routine evaluation of policies and procedures implementation and ensure best practice risk mitigation and assessment on scope of end-to-end IT system involvement. In addition, regularly reports to senior management and the board about the company's risk profile and the effectiveness of the risk management strategies.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Conduct process review and risk control self assessment, especially for IT related processes.

• Product review for new projects and initiatives.

• Architecture review for new engagement or business proposals.

• Risk training and awareness campaign.

• Advise product and business groups across the company to do a risk based approach in the decision making process.

• Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of experience in Enterprise IT Governance including IT risk management and controls.

• Experience in using SQL and Python.

• Deep understanding of the JavaScript programming language and have deep understanding of the JavaScript language.

• Preferably has experience working in Consulting for IT Risk Management, or Banking and other Financial Institutions with similar background.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Organized, responsive, and able to gain support and consensus with multiple stakeholders.
