Job Description

The Outsourcing Governance Lead is responsible for leading Outsourcing Governance Management efforts within Grab, including regulated financial services entities, working with country and functional business teams, as well as relevant regional risk and control functions. In this role within the Group Enterprise Risk team, you will also be responsible for supporting other risk management programs including but not limited to Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Management efforts.

Lead outsourcing governance efforts, including:

  • Lead the execution of Grab’s outsourcing governance program in a regional capacity, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Guide and advise countries and functions on outsourcing governance,, including driving enforcement and consistency of outsourcing governance practices, verification of key information, standardization of templates etc.
  • Be the main point of contact between country, function business teams and regional functions involved in outsourcing related matters
  • Highlight/Escalate any adverse news from vendors to appropriate leaders
  • Lead reporting and engagement efforts with country management and regulators as required.

Support group Enterprise Risk Management efforts as directed, including:

  • Risk reporting to country and senior management.
  • Tracking and monitoring of risk issues and incidents.
  • Support other risk advisory efforts to business teams.

Provide Business Continuity Management support to business teams, including:

  • Guidance to country and functional teams to refresh business continuity plans
  • Participate in business continuity related exercises as needed
  • Maintain a consistent set of templates and reference materials for country and functional teams’ usage

Qualifications

The Must Haves:

  • 6 or more years of experience building and sustaining outsourcing risk / governance and other risk management programs.
  • Experience with non-bank financial institutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance and governance risk management regulatory requirements in Southeast Asia.
  • Proactive, passionate, high energy, humble individual that loves to build and engage with others.
  • Strong communications, stakeholder collaboration and project management skills.
  • Strong preference to work in a dynamic and exciting environment with tight timelines.
  • Able to work independently to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Strong risk, control, and audit expertise including development of frameworks, policies, process and facilitating workshops.
