Job Description

We are in search of a dynamic professional to take on the role of Manager, Commercial Operations & Planning in the Philippines. You will be at the forefront of shaping Grab's approach to commerce and forging key alliances that drive business growth. You will spearhead the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at serving enterprise, medium, and small businesses. You will work on a broad set of projects ranging from new product launches to efforts in growing our partners’ businesses. You will work on a broad set of projects ranging from new business, organization design implementation, operational improvement initiatives. Drive and program manage cross-functional projects that serve stakeholders across departments and verticals

  • Strategic Planning: Identify, Develop and implement opportunities in improving merchant experience on the platform to meet the company's overall business objectives.

  • Business Execution: Execution of the commercial team’s initiatives, including partnerships with key stakeholders including merchants and advertisers, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders from Country Operations, Technology, Marketing, and other departments to align the commercial team’s initiatives with overall company goals. Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to maximize synergies and efficiency.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of the commercial team’s initiatives including but not limited to revenue growth, partnership acquisition and retention, customer engagement, and market share expansion. Regularly analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.

  • Product Development: provide product input to the design and improve our merchant and sales solutions working alongside our Product & Engineering teams

Qualifications

  • Hungry and driven to seek out opportunities to learn, develop and grow both technical and soft skills in finance, business strategy, operations, and entrepreneurship
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce or related industries, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets
  • Clear written and oral communication and storylining skills; able to make concise and impactful reports or slides as necessary
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and initiative
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of the Philippine market landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends
  • Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix environment in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working in a tech-driven or startup environment is a plus
