Job Description

We are currently looking to hire an intern for our team due to business expansion. Grab is currently expanding and at its optimal business cycle and this would be the best and exciting time to join us!

Get to know the Team

As a People Operations Intern, your responsibilities include supporting team on day to day operations for all Singapore-based Grabbers and interns. You will also be actively involved in planning and executing learning and engagement initiatives for them. In a nutshell, you get to experience what it takes to keep them happy, engaged and find purpose in their work. Your work in Grab will have a direct impact on the Grabber/Campus engagement experience. You will also get many opportunities to interact with the different stakeholders of the organization and hear personally from them the successes and improvements needed thus far.

Get to know the Role

  • Support the development and execution of engagement and culture plan that drives wellness (physical, mental and financial) and inclusivity at work

  • Support rollouts of regional initiatives by CoEs and localize as and when necessary

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and collaborate on partnerships (e.g. Employer Branding, Facilities, Government Agencies) inline with engagement plan

  • Develop original, innovative editorial content that supports employee engagement, via internal channels like email announcement, intranet etc

  • Identify, track, and analyze metrics of employee engagement efforts and assess effectiveness

  • Collaborate with Pops Business Partners, local Country Pops of other countries, regional Pops Centre of Excellence (CoEs) to plan and execute initiatives, identify and incorporate best practices

  • Focus group discussions with Grabbers/interns on potential learning and development gaps

  • Support HR operations / administration when required

Learning Objectives

  • Support learning and development programmes

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • Undergraduate in Human Resource, Business, Arts & Social Science or other relevant courses

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
