Job Description

Get to know our Team:

We are a small but mighty and collaborative team whose mandate is to build a forward looking and future ready people function at Grab. We are also a relatively new team that is looking to punch above its weight and create positive impact quickly while having fun.

Get to know the Role:

The People Experience Analyst is an exciting new role that sits under the new People Experience team, whose mandate is to ensure that we scale our processes and employee experiences as we grow the company.

The role will focus on operationalizing our HR processes and finding innovative ways to scale them while ensuring that the employee experience is at the forefront. You will also own processes as a process owner responsible for the day to day operations.

As a result, you will often be the face of Pops (People Operations) and seen as a respected advisor, a friendly face with a reputation for your passion in outserving our employees and managers.

The day-to-day activities:

Rest assured your days at Grab will never be mundane, considering the growth we’ve had. As a critical member of the People Experience team, your responsibilities will include some, if not all of the following:

  • Own the day to day operations of one or more processes across the region
  • Ensure on time delivery of our services
  • Solve tickets in relation to employee queries, data changes on workday and other systems
  • Track and use data to ensure process effectiveness and improvements
  • Work with cross functional teams on various projects to enhance the employee experience and data integrity in our systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to promote greater efficiency in a scalable manner
  • Continually build operational rigor in our processes and systems
  • Delight employees and stakeholders with proactive thinking with regards to complex business problems
  • Partner with a number of stakeholders as an advisor and partner to come up with creative but simple solutions for our processes
  • Drive compliance and governance around data in our systems

Qualifications

The People experience analyst is an important role and to be successful, we are looking for someone with a pleasant personality who has:

  • At least 8 years of experience in HR Operations or business operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while working towards a common goal
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • Has a bias for action and is able to execute with a customer centric mindset
  • The ability to partner with cross functional stakeholders and navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to balance the needs of the stakeholders (scope of work, conditions of satisfaction, success criteria),
  • Strong data skills and the ability to manipulate data and identify trends
  • Experienced in analyzing data sets to identify, prioritize, and address risks and opportunities; drive standardization and continuous improvement for the organization
  • High level of proficiency in microsoft office specifically excel and powerpoint or similar tools
  • Process excellence experience in HR operations / six sigma certified will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of change management principles and has driven change management and training activities successfully
  • Great presentation skills and ability to engage audiences
  • Familiarity with labour regulations in South East Asian countries
