Omnicommerce is a growing team responsible for creating Grab’s dine-in solutions in the market..We are a team of product managers, designers, data scientists, business strategists, and country operators. Our goal is to help merchants drive sustainable sales growth online and offline by offering consumers a delightful dining experience. Our mission at Grab is to create an ecosystem where restaurants find success by being on our platform. We are committed to playing an integral role in making Grab the go-to platform for the flourishing dine-in ecosystem.

Get to know the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager, Omnicommerce Strategy. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of Grab’s omnicommerce strategy, catering to enterprise, medium, and small businesses. You will be part of a regional cross-functional team, collaborating closely with other department and country counterparts to drive business growth and achieve key performance metrics.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement Grab’s omnicommerce strategy to meet the company's overall business objectives. Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer insights to drive growth and revenue.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research on consumer behavior, competitor offerings, and industry advancements to gather actionable insights.

  • Go-to-Market Planning: Partner closely with regional and country teams to create and implement effective go-to-market strategies, while optimizing for local market trends, competitive landscape, and user behaviors.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with regional and country counterparts from Operations, Technology, Sales and Business Development, Marketing, and other departments to align omnicommerce initiatives with overall company goals. Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to maximize synergies and efficiency.

  • Product Development: Provide product input to the design and improve our omnichannel solutions working alongside our Product, Engineering and Design teams

  • Roll-out Coordination: Coordinate with regional and country stakeholders for feature roll-outs, ensuring successful launch and adoption in respective markets.

  • Performance Tracking: Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, user trends, and market landscapes to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

The must haves:

  • At least 3 years of experience in management consultancy, e-commerce, omnicommerce, or related industries

  • High level of flexibility in working in a high-pressure working environment

  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve in unfamiliar territory

  • Able to work fast in small teams but with broad organizational reach

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across several organization levels and several cultures

  • Flair for numbers, strong analytical skills and structured process thinking, attentive to detail

  • Ability to use data visualization to summarize meaningful insights

  • Experience in engaging across Asian markets and cultures

  • Demonstrated project/program management of small teams

  • Familiar with startup environment and understanding of dynamics between design, engineering, product and customer service are a plus

  • Bachelor degree with strong academic track record
