Get to know the role

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to lead the planning, strategy and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to further grow Grab’s 4W business in Metro Manila.


We are looking for someone with a strong background in marketing strategy, who possesses not only solid logical thinking skills, but also a high level of creativity in finding solutions to meet challenges.

To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivated individual who can perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You should be able to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.

The day-to-day activities

  • Drive business growth in Metro Manila via acquisition and retention initiatives by working closely with the demand planning and operation team, Marketing Analytics, Market Research Team

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans: Address key business challenges, capture user insights, and unlock user demand with tailored-made proposal

  • Responsible for the end-to-end design and execution of strategic campaigns including concept ideation, media and demand planning, go-to-market strategy and budget planning. React fast to mid-campaign performance and optimize in between campaign activities.

  • Manage reporting and analysis across marketing campaigns, using data to drive better campaigns through a test and learn approach.

  • Work with all key stakeholders and crossfunctions (internal and external) to deliver high-quality work (Creative, PR, media buying, events , etc.) for Grab.

  • Work with our marketing analytics and consumer research teams to drive insight into how consumers are using our platform and translate these insights into innovative campaigns

  • Manage budget: ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the given spending

    Qualifications

    The must-have

    • At least 3 year of experience in a brand and/or communications role (client-side or as a suit/planner in agencies).
    • Demonstrated the ability to lead campaigns across the spectrum of communications: brand repositioning, new product launches, and interesting twists on sales promotions.
    • Proactive and data-driven: Adopt an analytical approach to understanding customer behavioral segmentation and spotting opportunities.
    • Solution-driven mindset: Natural strategic thinker and problem-solver who gains category/commercial understanding with ease and has the ability to turn-key business drivers into exciting customer value propositions.
    • Great collaborator: Someone who works well with a wide group of stakeholders and is open to idea experimentation. Able to navigate complexities, influence, and persuade approval to get things moving.
    • Highly organized, detailed, and meticulous: Enjoys improving processes to achieve day-to-day efficiency. Thrives in an ultrafast-paced tech/digitally-inclined environment.
