Get to know the team

The ID Grab Kios Sales team is part of Grab Kios which has been established since the time named Kudo and has responsibility for sales activities at Grab Kios. Kios has so far provided assistance as a part of the Ecosystem at Grab Indonesia in terms of Digital Goods to support other vertical activities and consumers directly. This team consists of people who are very enthusiastic about their work and have a strong desire to progress and develop.

We are looking for a Sales Manager Role to handle and manage the team for Kios retail sales and area growth responsibility. We believe a successful candidate has business and people development skills, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because we need a talented person who can handle and manage this responsibility. In return, you will get an opportunity to grow together with us.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Accountable for achieving the sales targets within the assigned area.
  • Responsible to generate revenue across all products and regions through Assistant Manager, ASOC, field sales team, and all channels including dealers, agents, communities, etc.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Local Government to secure community projects and strategize SME Community-related initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with MEX Store, Pareto Store, Kios Store, VIP agents, etc. within the assigned area, providing top-notch service and support to the team to achieve targets.
  • Ensure all bookings and administrative tasks are carried out properly and in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor and track team performance, providing necessary feedback and performance management.
  • Responsible for reporting daily, weekly, and monthly achievements.
  • Develop a pipeline of systematically qualified prospects, managing the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to provide the best solutions for end customers and resellers.
  • Collaborate closely with other stakeholders, vertical teams, and territory teams to provide and receive support.
  • Manage the sales process with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all details are handled professionally.
  • Strive to achieve sales KPIs and GMV growth, contributing to the overall success of the company.

    Qualifications

    The Must-Haves

    • Embody the core values of Heart, Hunger, Honor, and Humility.
    • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
    • Have a minimum of 7 years' experience in Sales, preferably in direct sales and a background in the FMCG/Telco or Tech Company.
    • Have the experience to strategies community outreach and engagement
    • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
    • Exhibit strong leadership skills (inc. managing Freelancers or Sales Agents) across a wide area and have a deep understanding of the character and demographics of various areas/provinces in Indonesia.
    • Demonstrate high ownership of the business and its roles, with the ability to devise field strategies that can be easily implemented by the team.
    • Possess strategic thinking, negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
    • Have experience and knowledge about the retail sales process, data analysis, and understanding of sales and marketing strategy.
    • Be disciplined, honest, professional, and proactive.
