Get to know the role

As a Technical Program Manager Intern at Grab, you will be part of complex, cross-functional programs, acting as a bridge between Engineering teams. Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining the Delivery Roadmap, defining the way of driving these programs, and constantly improving this process. You will also prepare project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, and resolve impediments. You will also get a chance to understand cloud technologies (AWS and Azure), work hands-on with Industry Project Management frameworks, and enhance your communication skills. This role requires effective communication skills, a 'can do' attitude, and a willingness to not be constrained by your job description.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, maintain, and improve project plans, ensuring they align with company objectives.
• Support the coordination of various teams to deliver complex projects.
• Assist in managing projects and monitoring their progress.
• Facilitate technical deep-dives and troubleshooting sessions.
• Help identify risks, plan mitigation, and manage dependencies within and across business units.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and knowledge across project teams.
• Participate in process improvements by suggesting and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

• Basics of software project management.
• Eagerness to solve problems and deliver.
• Understands Software development life cycle
• Good communication skills both written and oral. Good presentation skills
• Good stakeholder management and cross collaboration skills.
• Having prior knowledge of project management tool such as jira. Confluence etc.. added benefit
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Fundamental knowledge in software development lifecycle or relevant technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and capacity to adapt to changes.
