Get to know the team

The Dine-in team is a group of product managers, business leaders, designers, engineers and analytics professionals driven to be the one-stop solution for consumers to discover and enjoy dining out. Dine-in also creates additional growth opportunities for our merchants to attract and retain customers through the tools that we build. Our team focuses on sharpening consumer experience in-app and surfacing relevant content to users to make informed decisions. If you are looking for a challenging opportunity, join our team!

Get to know the role

We are looking for an Intern to look into enhancing our discovery journey. We believe a successful candidate is data-driven, analytical, excellent in problem-solving with a strong empathy for consumers. If you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role requires you to champion excellence in user experiences and product quality, and you will have an opportunity to push the boundaries and try new things in an entrepreneurial environment.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Conduct market research, tracking and compiling industry trends
  • Define product solutions, work with the design team to create delightful user experiences and clarify these user stories for your engineering team
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Operations to execute go-to-market for new product launches
  • Leverage data to understand customer behaviour and performance of our products
  • Identify key metrics and further iterations to deliver higher business value

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • Strong academic track record, currently enrolled in a university, graduate program, or MBA program majoring in Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics
  • Excellent logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven, strong ability in analysing data to derive insights and make decisions
  • Full-time intern preferred (3 - 6 months)
  • Part-time interns committing at least 3 days per week are welcomed as well

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Preferably to commit full-time till December 2024
  • Preferably to do SQL queries independently
  • Experience with market research or competitor analysis is an advantage
