Job Description

Get to know the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced BPO/Vendor Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our relationships with business process outsourcing (BPO) providers and other vendors, ensuring that all contracts and service agreements meet our company's needs, standards, and objectives. This role involves monitoring vendor performance, negotiating contracts, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve operational excellence and cost-efficiency.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with BPO providers and other vendors, acting as one of the main points of contact for all vendor-related issues.
  • Support and participate during contracts and service agreements negotiations, ensuring they align with company objectives and deliver value.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance on a regular basis to ensure compliance with SLAs and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within vendor contracts and operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations across multiple markets, to coordinate vendor selection, onboarding, and management processes.
  • Handle vendor queries and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated on market trends and best practices in vendor management and outsourcing.

Qualifications

The must haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in vendor management or BPOs, including performance management and relationship building.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vendor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in BPO and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good in written and excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills that enable one to work with people at all levels across multiple markets, to influence, motivate and empower whenever necessary
  • Self-starter and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about the social mission and making a positive impact in emerging markets
