Get to Know the Role

Salesforce Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing scalable solutions including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support the end to end release process.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

Work with the development team to ensure merged changes are packaged and deployed continuously on the Sandboxes and Production.

Support the team in resolving and deploying the fixes by guiding them with platform related issues, sharing the details of failure with respective developers for resolution.

Work with Architects and Tech Leads to implement best practices and strategy to enable seamless CI/CD framework development.

The Must-Haves:

• Must have at least 5+ years of experience working as Salesforce DevOps Engineer.
• Able to create dynamic pipelines and as per branching strategy defined.
• Baseline the branches with changes in the Production Instance.
• Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile methodology environment
• Experience in Continuous Integration Tools (Git, Jenkins, Ant Tool,Shell scripting,Gitlab, Github,Jenkins,SFDX)
• Able to adapt to quick changes and build new pipelines and ability to transform into SFDX fashion with guidance from Salesforce.
• Able to guide developers with deployment related activities and support them in identifying any platform related issues during deployment and validations.
• Experience in Sandbox Refresh related activities.
• Experience in best practices to be followed as part of pre and post deployment activities.
• A good team player, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication.
• Coordinate with Salesforce support to enable features and resolve sandbox/production deployment related issues.

Advantageous to have Salesforce development experience.
