The 2W ID team is a fast-growing team responsible for scaling up the 2W vertical business in Grab Indonesia We make an impact by identifying and meeting the needs of customers, driver partners and partners within the 2W landscape. Our team is made up of go-getters who create strategies and bring them to live by working collaboratively across multiple stakeholders. Get to know the Role
We are looking for a Business Excellence Assistant Manager, 2W to become a central point of the business unit to create strategies and bring them into live. We believe a successful candidate has strong analytical skills, structured thought process and experiences in large-scale growth initiatives especially in the 2W ride-hauling sector, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because the business unit needs to create strategic guidance and monitor initiatives undertaken by multiple stakeholders to meet its objectives. In return, you will get an opportunity to learn an array of functional competencies, which would enable you to assess business performance holistically.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Create budget preparation guidance of the business unit by working with multiple stakeholders to identify key levers

  • Monitor P&L performance of the business unit against budget and provide analysis/ commentaries on the trend

  • Take part in business scale-up initiatives and work with different stakeholders in turning strategy into actionable items

  • Support in the development and expansion of new businesses

  • Gather industry and competitive insights to support demand-led and supply-led initiatives

  • Analyze the key trends in the satisfaction scores of customers, drivers and partners and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Develop business performance reports for consumption of multiple stakeholders


The Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top university

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English (Written & spoken)

  • At least 2-4 years of experience (Prior experience in management consulting/ strategic planning is a plus)

  • Industry insights in ride-hauling, and transportation would be advantageous

  • Strong foundation in data query/manipulation using SQL.

  • Experience using R, Python or other tools for statistical analysis is a strong plus

  • Project and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in data analysis and simulation

  • A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo

  • Effective communicator and team-player

  • High level of adaptability in working in a fluid environment
