About the Role

We are looking for a responsible self-starter who can take on day to day responsibilities with little supervision. As a Regional Senior Analyst, Finance Operations, you would be responsible for our Regional Billing Operations, encompassing the preparation and review of Month End Close billing submissions together with investigating and resolving complex client issues.  You will also function as the liaison between the local business and accounting/collections teams to maintain proper accounting, reporting and timely Account Receivable collection for GrabAds’ various business initiatives. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:

• Investigate and resolve billing-related queries from Country Sales Teams and internal stakeholders

• Ensure that monthly invoicing operations are carried out in an accurate and timely manner

• Collect and transform relevant operational data from various sources from the business (automated and manual systems) into billing, cost, and other financial templates for month-end financial recording and invoicing.

• Reconcile Sales Pipeline with actual delivery information for improved business forecasting and performance. 

• Perform various tasks related to processing of billing and intercompany (inclusive of netting and settlement activities) transactions, including investigation, resolution, collection, and escalation of issues in a timely manner

• Work with Local Finance Teams to reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data

• Suggest ways to improve GrabAds’ billing and collections processes

What do we need?

• Strong background and in-depth experience in financial operations with a solid foundation in accounting principles and terminology, including accruals, credit notes, and intercompany transactions.

• Previous exposure to the technology industry, demonstrating a sound understanding of the unique aspects of finance operations within this sector.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables, Index Match, If functions, etc.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve billing-related queries.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Experience working with diverse regions is a definite plus.
