The GrabFood Marketplace team drives the business forward by strategically managing dynamics between eaters, partner drivers, and merchants to ensure a healthy platform experience. Creating frameworks & optimizing performance through various market levers, the team ensures business continuity and supports growth amidst a rapidly changing and highly competitive environment.
Get to know the Role
As a Marketplace Economics Lead, you will be responsible for championing supply reliability & marketplace health, actively managing various product & incentive levers, and identifying and driving initiatives to unlock driver efficiency and cost savings.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Actively manage the balance of driver supply & consumer demand to ensure platform reliability for Grab’s 2-Wheel Delivery services, deploying driver incentives, shaping demand, and adjusting product configurations as necessary
Optimize driver earnings via pricing & incentives structures to ensure that our driver partners earn fair & competitive compensation for their work, improving productivity, and shaping supply behavior to meet the needs of the market
Deep dive and transform live data to unearth insights and identify opportunities to grow the business in both Bangkok and other city markets, learning and sharing findings with peers &leaders
Plan, develop, and execute high-level projects collaborating with both internal and regional teams to create impact & effectively take Grab to the next level!

A Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years working experience in data analysis fields a plus.
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, with an attention to detail and structure. SQL is a plus.
Excellent communications and presentation skills, with good English proficiency.
Experience with leading a team to tackle complex business (as well as personal) challenges.
Flexibility, passion, and energy to excel in a fast-paced team environment, while also being able to work independently as well.
