Grab’s Security team supports the organization across multiple geographies and business units. We plan, execute and enforce policies and standards to ensure the security of our people, facilities and other key assets, both physical and informational. We also help influence the overall strategic direction of the company by supporting the top management with security insights and advice. If being constantly on the move and problem solving excites you, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will work on multi-dimensional projects, with our regional teams, and external partners to tackle real-time issues in a fast growing business.

Develop internal policies and processes for Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety
Apprise senior management of situations that have an impact on Grab operations which relates to Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety
The Day-to-Day Activities
Develop internal policies and processes for Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety;
Proactively identify, prevent, mitigate, and (if required), respond and manage potential and actual security threats directed towards staff, company assets or operations
Understand the respective country’s business objectives and provide security, along with health and safety, advice and solutioning;
Actively monitor Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety KPIs within your country and develop early preventive measures;
Develop and implement Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety emergency response training and testing program across your markets;
Develop business cases for investment in risk mitigation
Collect and manage information or process data to identify meaningful trends for risk identification and mitigation
Manage country and regional partners in identifying key areas for service improvement
Proactively manage vendor relationships, performance reviews, and service provision
Lead end to end physical security supporting
Provide physical security design for premises
Monitor Geopolitical events for impacts to Grab and support Crisis Response
Escalating and managing Security incidents in a timely manner
Forge and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Lead and support Country Teams in proactively managing Corporate Security and Occupational Health & Safety processes and incidents
The Must-Haves
Minimally bachelor's degree - 5+ years of experience
3+ years in Corporate Security and/or Occupational Health & Safety in a multinational company with regional exposure is preferred
Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar, Microsoft Office, Google Suites)
Solid spoken and written communication skills
Stay current on industry and governmental regulations, and develop strong relationships with law enforcement, government or private sector counterparts
Existing network of private and public sector contacts
An analytical mindset with ability to present and execute actionable findings
Critically understand quantitative and qualitative patterns that are associated with geopolitical trends
An ability to develop a variety of complex policies and procedures with minimal guidance for Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning
Possess good problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
A strong judgement and moral compass
Executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization
An ability to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment
Self-motivated to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines
Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Solid spoken and written communication skills
An ability to manage incident analysis, some complex and highly sensitive, individually or as part of a team covering all areas of the business
Be travelling on an ad hoc basis (less than 5 days per month)
Good working knowledge of security management practices and principles
Knowledgeable about local security context and trends within the region is a plus
Start-up experience a plus
