2W Marketplace handles all of Grab’s financial metrics within Metro Manila. To deliver on its objectives, the team runs both supply and demand-shaping initiatives to generate growth and profitability for the company.

The team is in charge of strategy and planning through budget management and deployment, data analysis, spend optimization, and project management, while working collaboratively with the operations team to deliver effective initiatives and hit targets. The team may also need to travel to different cities to perform business-critical initiatives.

Get to know the Role

The role will be responsible for handling our Grab driver/rider partners and consumers within Metro Manila and will be responsible for the financial and key operational metrics of the different Transport and Deliveries businesses under City Operations which include GrabCar, GrabTaxi, GrabFood, and GrabExpress among others

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Take ownership of and manage assigned financial targets for the different Transport and Deliveries business within Metro Manila

• Generate ideas/insights then analyze, design, and deploy initiatives meant to increase revenue or reduce operational costs; subsequently, present and communicate the findings in an easy-to-understand manner

• Continue optimizing efforts to make the most value out of the spend

• Collaborate with on-ground teams to deliver relevant and effective solutions

• Immerse in the markets you serve to understand its unique properties

• Take on ad-hoc projects related to 2W’s profitability and reliability

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with a strong academic track record.

• At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in project management/strategic consulting, eCommerce, and/or start-ups preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required. Familiarity with data tools/programming languages like SQL and Python is a plus!

• Numbers-oriented, analytical and insightful individual that is comfortable sifting through large amounts of data

• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.

• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

• A team player with a strong collaborative spirit

• Flexible and able to consistently perform comfortably under pressure in a dynamic, ultra-fast-paced environment

• Doesn’t mind traveling

The Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with data tools/programming languages like SQL and Python is a plus!
