Come join the Consumer Experience (CX) Engineering team - we work on a diverse set of consumer experience problems for our users, spanning core experiences powering the UX navigation and transaction funnels, content and service discovery, user engagement, and the mobile application developer experience. Get to Know the Role
In this role, you will be responsible to work on continuously improving user retention by reducing friction across all possible user journeys , optimising performance & platformising the solutions. You will be working in a fast paced growth team that continuously iterates on assumed hypothesis and solution. You will be required to quickly adapt solve problems with in entire mobile super app scope.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
Design and write in swiftUI & Objective C
Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to architect and implement features
Actively participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
Brainstorm innovative ideas, identify problems, propose and implement solutions geared towards scale and performance
Take full ownership of projects that are built to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of our users and business partners.
Design, implement, instrument, and deploy highly performant and reusable Android components for operational excellence initiatives
Lead Collaboration with stakeholders across teams and roles, to identify and resolve ambiguous, multi-dimensional business, legal, and product needs.
Participate in interview loops to help Grab continue hiring top industry talent
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to peers.
The Must-Haves
4+ years of professional software development experience including at least 2 years of iOS development experience
Solid computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
Experience owning an end-to-end feature
Experience running large-scale applications and a global understanding of systems internals and tools like crash analytics, remote debugging, and continuous integration.
Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, and the ability to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
Deep understanding of the CI/CD implementation
Highly accountable and takes ownership of one’s own work.
Eager to learn, to take more responsibility, and to create an impact on millions of users.
