Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a well-rounded Strategic Project Lead for Account Management to drive the growth of thousands of small-medium businesses in GrabMart. We believe a successful candidate needs to be great at analyzing complex business situations and to be skilled at managing relationships with a wide range of people across different parts of the company. You will be in charge of leading projects from ideation to reiteration, making sure everything goes smoothly and delivers good results. This role is perfect for candidates seeking to leverage their strategic thinking, number-crunching abilities, and people skills to nurture merchants' growth across ID.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
Identify potential and innovative ideas by analyzing historical data and business situations to make informed decisions and recommendations
Lead, manage, and oversee multiple projects at once from inception to completion, ensuring successful execution
Collaborate closely with the Sales Account Management team to provide support for problem-solving in the field, while enhancing their workflow efficiency
Bridge the gap between field insights and actionable business measures to drive data-driven strategic planning
Liaise with different functions across various levels and departments to ensure coherence and effective collaboration across business units
Engage prioritized merchants in thoughtful discussions and lead effective negotiation processes
The Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field (preferably in business or management)
Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic planning is a must. Of great importance is experience in leading various projects, data analysis, collaboration across teams, and understanding of fieldwork operations
FMCG/Retail/Marketplace/Sales industry background is an advantage
Must know how to use Microsoft Office, G Suite, and PowerBI. Data & query knowledge is a major plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English. Ability to build good relationships with partners and match partners’ needs and organization resources
Energetic, enthusiastic, and calm even in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
You are able to practice a high level of discretion, a strong sense of accountability, self-motivated, good sense of business/cultural priorities and nuances
