The Mobility strategy team works closely with senior business and tech leaders to define where to play and how to win for the mobility business. We use analytical frameworks and hypotheses-led problem solving to solve the biggest challenges and chart the growth path in mobility.
Get to know the Role
In this role, you will combine the best of problem structuring, quantitative rigour, business acumen, deep product knowledge and influencing skills to do 2 things effectively:
Break down complex problems and challenges to truly understand root causes in the mobility business.
Shape and align specific parts of Grab’s mobility strategy to tackle those challenges and opportunities.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Develop and maintain strong channels to listen to the voice of the customer (both passengers and drivers) through strong working relationships with country mobility teams and other functional customer-facing teams.
Understand business objectives and deep dive into internal and external data to identify root causes.
Combine them with qualitative feedback and interviews to form a clear narrative along with rigorously validated recommendations.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders and leaders across different teams to drive alignment and ownership.
Build deep understanding of new areas for growth and the competitive landscape to identify “where to play”.
Whether in response to a big opportunity or complex issue, co-own specific mobility problem spaces and work with a cross-functional team to drive clarity in problem-solving and execution.
5+ years in a product, strategy or analytical role in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong business acumen, be customer focused, team and results-oriented.
Passionate about the mission of Grab.
Strong analytically and fluent with SQL, Python, R or other scripting/programming languages needed to problem-solve.
