The Country Business Development (BD) and Partnerships team is a longstanding team responsible for closing new business and collaborations with different companies with the same aspiration as Grab. We make an impact by supporting the majority of the Grab verticals and bringing-in partners to support all Grab’s One Grab Campaign and other country initiatives. The team is the gatekeeper of the majority of potential dealings in and out of Grab. Our team is made up of young-minded individuals.
Get to know the role
We are looking for a Business Developement Account Manager for our Business Development team. We believe a successful candidate has superb coordination skills, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Support Business Development team in developing new business, monetization opportunities and establish partnerships to accelerate Grab’s business through initiatives across technology, supply, and demand
Play a key role in executing deals by closely working with cross-functional team, Regional BD team and external stakeholders
Solidify and maintain productive relationships with key partners
Create, maintain, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) periodically to the Cluster Lead and Head of Growth & Partnerships
Pro-actively work with BD teammates to craft and share best practices efficiently using common resources
The Must-Haves
(for external applications) At least 3 years experience in accounts and project management, or relevant experience
(for internal applications) At least 1 year in an external facing role
You should embody Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility
You have strong working knowledge in using MS Office (i.e. Excel and Powerpoint) and Google Suite.
You are someone who gets things done, efficiently tracking multiple projects simultaneously
You have a growth mindset and comfortable in working under uncertain situations
You are an effective communicator with good stakeholder management and comfortable presenting to executives
You love to problem solve, ideate and engage in healthy debates
