The Technical Infrastructure team is a group of product managers, software engineers, and program managers focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Grab's internal operations. Our mission is to build and maintain a suite of internal tools and platforms that enable Grabbers to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.

Get to know the Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our Technical Infrastructure team, looking at Internal Tools & Efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and adoption of internal tools and platforms that improve the efficiency of Grab's operations, such as (but not limited to) developing a smarter config management layer and building our LLM Ops platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that have a significant impact on the company's bottom line.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Define and drive the product strategy for internal tools and platforms that improve efficiency and collaboration across Grab.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that address these needs.

  • Gather requirements, conduct user research, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team is focused on delivering high-impact projects.

  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.

  • Drive the adoption and onboarding of internal tools and platforms, working closely with users to ensure they are engaged and successful.

  • Oversee product launches, product marketing, and other go-to-market activities for internal tools and platforms.

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that the team's work is well-understood and well-supported.

The must-haves:

  • 7+ years in product management, preferably at a tech company.

  • At least 3 years of experience building and managing internal tools or platforms.

  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices and tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable engaging in high-level technical discussions and explaining technical topics to a non-technical audience.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects on time and on budget.

The nice to haves:

  • Experience with config management and LLMs.

  • Familiarity with complex release trains and at-scale deployments

  • Familiarity with cloud applications and architecture.

  • Bonus points: Programming experience, avid Grab user.
