Get to know the Role:

This role supports the Head of Country People Operations to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of people-related policies and processes for Grab Philippines, with hands-on business partnering responsibilities.

The day to day activities include:

Deliver effective Country People Operations services

  • Support Head of Country Pops to provide advance level support and internal consulting to country management team on People-related agenda

  • Design, review and/or monitor local people-related policies, processes and other initiatives aligned with employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding

  • Ensure responsive People services are provided to employees, and proactively identify scalable / process improvement solutions

  • Drive and/or implement people related projects as required, including activating and/or partnering with the relevant regional and/or local stakeholders from alignment and implementation

Business Partnering

  • Support the business leaders on people matters as an advisor and change agent by facilitating collaborative conversations and change across teams, organizations, procedures and systems.

  • Collaborate with leaders on people-related initiatives to develop a people-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, teamwork and high performance.

  • Partner with business leaders to drive the workforce planning process to forecast budget for resource planning, workforce engagement and learning and development; and oversee the development and deployment of people, assess and anticipate their needs

  • Establish and communicate People metrics that demonstrate added value and identify where changes in practices and policies are required.

  • Identify key drivers, plan and execute impactful actions to systematically strengthen culture and organization performance; and work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity

  • Make an impact by supporting & guiding your fellow Grabbers by communicating thoughtful, personalised solutions and feedback which helps them improve

  • Drive performance management reviews, providing guidance, advice and training to managers on managing performance issues at all levels by implementing relevant retention strategies and identifying learning and development needs for business units and individual coaching needs

The must haves:

  • At least 10 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary HR teams.

  • Strong and proven HR leader with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills to deal effectively with mid to senior colleagues in all parts of the organisation.

  • Possesses deep expertise in HR Audit, compensation and benefits design, policy and process setting / re-design.

  • Highly analytical and comfortable to work with data sets; leveraging raw data into insights.

  • Outcome driven customer centric mind-set.

  • Has the ability to multi-task and complete numerous tasks within deadlines. A pro-active and a “Can Do” attitude would be critical.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
