Get to know the Team:
The GrabFood Marketplace team drives the business forward by strategically managing dynamics between eaters, partner drivers, and merchants to ensure a healthy platform experience. Creating frameworks & optimizing performance through various market levers, the team ensures business continuity and supports growth amidst a rapidly changing and highly competitive environment.
Get to know the Role:
As a Marketplace Strategy Associate, you will be supporting the Marketplace team in planning, creating, and leveraging new products, processes, and policies to shape and improve GrabFood’s delivery experience, helping to secure reliability and reduce operational costs to serve.
The day-to-day activities:
Deep dive and transform live data to unearth insights and Identify any gaps or opportunities that influence GrabFood's delivery experience, and brainstorm solutions to address and capture these
Optimize existing platform fulfillment products to ensure quality customer experiences, and support Grab's growth amidst dynamic market conditions
Work closely with both local and regional teams to develop and manage project plans to experiment and roll out new features that improve delivery efficiency across Bangkok and other city markets
Plan and implement strategies to continuously translate platform efficiencies into cost savings for the business What we’re looking for: We welcome people from diverse backgrounds who want to help push Southeast Asia forward, starting by creating impact here in Thailand!
The must haves:
A Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or in a relevant field with a strong academic track record
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience at management consultancy firm, tech company or fast-paced working environment in strategy or business development.
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, with an attention to detail and structure
Proficiency in Excel/ is required, experience with SQL/R/Python is a plus
Excellent communications and presentation skills, with very good English proficiency
Flexibility, passion, and energy to excel in a fast-paced team environment, while also being able to work independently as well
