VN Insights & Marketplace Strategy team is a thinking tank of Grab that functions on both Strategy and Operations to deliver Marketplace’s growth and optimize Marketplace’s economics. We focus on delivering affordable and timely services for our passengers/eaters, enhancing income for our Drivers and Merchants Partners, at the same time stimulating demand to drive marketplace growth sustainably.
Our team consists of young but experienced individuals who are tenacious and energized with intellectual challenges. We demonstrate a combination of analytical and strategic thinking, that deliver comprehensive outputs of data analysis, business insight and financial planning.
Get to know the Role:
We are looking for IMS - GMS Planning Specialist to primarily set up campaigns on the system. Monitor and adjust campaign performance on a daily basis and monitor & manage day-to-day marketplace growth metrics, investigate short-term anomalies and troubleshoot with the relevant team as needed.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
Developing day-to-day tactical initiatives to improve marketplace dynamics, using marketplace tools efficiently.
Coordinate cross teams to execute campaigns from end-to-end, to update system knowledge and troubleshoot system issues.
Perform demand planning such as forecast demand, come up with growth initiatives for weekly and monthly cycles.
Conduct preliminary analysis to drive insight on effectiveness and impact of the campaign to revenue and demand growth
Assist Marketplace Senior Specialist to conduct experiments for economics optimization.
Build presentations to influence senior stakeholders and enable data driven decision making.
The Must Haves:
A degree from a decent university in any discipline, fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience.
Familiarity with economics is a strong plus - fundamentally, this role is about matching supply and demand efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and meticulous.
Good logical and analytical thinking.
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and an excellent team player with strong work ethics.
Strong sense of curiosity in seeking impactful opportunities and learning about our economics.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese
Familiar with large datasets and a knack for piecing together data to form insights.
Working understanding of SQL and experience with a mobile CLM platform
Confident in processing and analyzing complex data sets using SQL, PowerBI, Advanced Excel.
