Get to know the role:

• Being the first line of defence against potential security breaches to computer systems and network

• Configure, implement and maintain security measures for securing the computer systems, endpoints, information and networks

• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans

• Develop the Enterprise IT security strategy, standard operating protocols and procedures

• Monitor and analyse computer systems and network for irregular behaviour

• Conduct regular scans to identify system and network vulnerabilities as part of vulnerability management

• Develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach

• Lead in research, analysis and evaluation of new cloud security technologies, and automate repeatable tasks

• Develop and maintain awareness on latest cybersecurity trends, threats, vulnerabilities and hacking techniques

The must haves:

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or related qualification

• Hands-on experience in security systems that include firewall appliances, DNS, CASB, DLP, EDR, etc.

• Experience with networking technologies on network security and monitoring tools

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills

• Good knowledge of cyber security

• Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
