Cornerstone Support
The primary purpose of this role is to solve complex surety bonding needs in ways that protect our clients, satisfy regulatory requirements, and create long term value for their businesses. Our Bonding Agent will work closely with clients, surety carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to place and manage a wide range of commercial surety bonds across multiple regulated industries.
This role requires a strong understanding of surety underwriting, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements. The Bonding Agent must be able to move quickly, manage time sensitive filings and renewals, and communicate clearly with both sophisticated business owners and first time bond buyers. We support hundreds of clients nationwide across all 50 states, many operating in high risk and highly regulated environments.
This role includes significant sales and relationship management responsibilities, with a focus on building durable client relationships and a healthy, growing book of business. We operate as an independent agency on behalf of our clients to secure dependable bonding solutions at competitive terms while making the process as efficient and painless as possible.
The Bonding Agent will immediately step in to support a large and growing bond portfolio and will be responsible for stewarding client relationships through new bond placements, renewals, rider requests, and ongoing compliance needs.

Role & Responsibilities- Place and manage a broad range of commercial surety bonds, including license and permit bonds, financial institution bonds, court bonds, fidelity bonds, and miscellaneous commercial bonds
- Work directly with decision makers at client organizations to assess bond requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with surety underwriters and carriers to secure competitive terms and facilitate efficient underwriting
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and sureties, ensuring accurate submissions, clear communication, and timely approvals
- Manage bond renewals, riders, cancellations, and continuations in accordance with regulatory deadlines
- Support internal team members through complex bonding scenarios, escalations, and time sensitive filings
- Analyze financial statements, credit profiles, and risk factors to support underwriting decisions
- Collaborate cross functionally with licensing, insurance, accounting, premium finance, marketing, and technology teams to improve client experience and operational efficiency
- Serve as a trusted resource for clients on bonding requirements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
- Identify opportunities to expand bonding programs and develop new offerings aligned with client needs and company strategy
- Contribute to business development, sales growth, and retention initiatives within the bonding practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced, high accountability environment
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction while knowing when to escalate issues

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 plus years of experience in surety bonding or related commercial insurance roles
- Experience placing license and surety bonds strongly preferred
- Prior experience supporting financial services or regulated industries preferred Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe
- Proven ability to grow and manage a book of business
- Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and Teams

- Location: Company headquarters are in Alpharetta, GA, approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta. Preference is for candidates in the Greater Atlanta area, though remote candidates will be considered if highly qualified
- Agencies and Consultants: We are not hiring agencies or consultants for this role. This is a full time, dedicated position critical to the business
