Role Summary

As an AI Builder/ AI Developer on our Startup and Transformation team, you will be a key driver of AI-powered innovation. Your role is to conceptualize, prototype, and build Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that leverage AI to solve new client challenges and improve internal processes. We are looking for a creative, adaptable, and experimental developer who is a generalist—quick to learn, adaptable, and able to find creative solutions. Responsibilities:

Ideation and Prototyping

• Collaborate with the Startup and Transformation team to brainstorm and conceptualize new AI-powered solutions.
• Rapidly build functional MVPs and proof-of-concept applications using large language models and other AI/ML capabilities.
• Explore and experiment with a wide range of technologies, from integrating third-party APIs to leveraging pre-trained machine learning models.

Technical Development

• Develop and deploy working prototypes for a variety of use cases, including solutions for new clients and improvements to existing internal systems.
• Integrate AI models with existing systems, APIs, and workflows to create practical applications.
• Leverage BI tools and data-driven strategies to inform continuous improvement and solution design.

Innovation

• Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI trends, tools, and methodologies to inform solution design and capabilities.
• Embody a generalist mindset, finding creative and effective solutions with limited resources and tight deadlines.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Data, to deliver impactful prototypes and support wider deployment.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to team members and stakeholders.

Competencies Requirements:

Knowledge:

• Understanding of machine learning concepts (fine-tuning, embeddings, prompt engineering).
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools for rapid prototyping (Bubble, Retool, Airtable, etc.).
• Experience with automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make)

• Knowledge of data processing, cleaning, and transformation techniques
• Familiarity with API integration patterns.

Mindset:

• Ability to simplify complex problems and find creative solutions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Strong curiosity about emerging technologies and their applications.

Skills and Experience:

Must Have:

• Experience with generative AI models or large language models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Comfortable with cloud environments (e.g, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to solution finding.

Nice To Have:

• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or innovation-focused environment.
• Experience in a product development or innovation role, with a focus on technology
• Familiarity with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
