Role Summary

We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to help us create, edit, and distribute compelling content that engages and informs our target audience. As a skilled writer and marketer, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with our brand and business goals. You will work closely with our team and extended stakeholders (e.g. sales, client success, product management) to create blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, campaign assets, and other marketing materials that drive traffic, generate leads, build brand awareness, and demonstrate our thought leadership. Your ability to research and analyze industry trends, as well as your strong communication skills, will be essential in creating content that resonates with our audience and drives results.

In short, we’re looking for a creative and talented professional who’s passionate about understanding what our audiences need to know and delivering it to them.

The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of content marketing and creative production, as well as expertise in creating engaging content for all digital outlets (including website, collateral, email, blogs, and social networks). Experience in social media planning and management is important. This person can quickly understand and articulate our business in a compelling way.

This is a fully remote position. Ability to work US Eastern time zone business hours is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs. Includes coordinating and managing an editorial calendar, content promotion and distribution, and repurposing (derivative) content.
  • Create and edit high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, social media updates, website content, ads, email, videos, webinars, infographics, white papers, and sales collateral.
  • Conduct proactive research and analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Includes assisting in competitor content strategy research and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, and subject matter experts, to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and meets project deadlines.
  • Identify, source, and manage freelancers, contractors, and agency partners, as needed.
  • Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms, and track and report on key performance metrics to measure success.
  • Manage content distribution channels, including email newsletters, social media accounts, and third-party platforms, to increase reach and engagement.
  • Continuously test and refine content marketing strategies and tactics to improve results and drive business growth.
  • Champion and conduct content audits and gap analyses to inform content production priorities, sunsets, and governance.
  • Contribute to our design and branding architecture to ensure content and experiences are on brand.
