We are seeking a dynamic professional in the role of Business Solutions Specialist to join our Business Applications team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage advanced tools and technologies to systematically review and optimize internal business processes with technology.

Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring strategic alignment, evaluating effectiveness, and calculating cost-benefit ratios. As a key driver of operational excellence, you will lead the deployment of improvements and continually optimize processes through iterative lifecycle management.

Your role extends to conducting a comprehensive review of existing products within our business applications tech stack. This involves meticulous assessment of their alignment with internal processes, evaluating deployment effectiveness, and determining usage impact. You will be at the forefront of designing enhancements, calculating return on investment, and deploying improvements to ensure seamless integration with evolving business needs.

Staying ahead of the technological curve, you will remain informed about emerging technologies and play a crucial role in recommending new products.

Your expertise will be instrumental in adapting our technology portfolio to meet the dynamic requirements of our business.

Job Responsibilities:

1. SaaS Product Expertise:

  • Develop a profound understanding of the company’s SaaS product portfolio, discerning the unique functions and contributions of each product within our business context.
  • Effectively communicate product capabilities to business partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

2. Business Operations Mastery:

  • Attain a comprehensive understanding of our internal business operations, identifying opportunities for technology-driven process improvement that enhance overall performance and align with strategic goals.
  • Acquire robust business acumen to align SaaS product strategies seamlessly with market dynamics, user needs, and industry trends.

3. Technical Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with technical teams, both internal and external (vendor partners) to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities, ensuring aligned and optimized processes.
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of technical concepts related to business processes and facilitate effective communication with technical stakeholders.

4. Business Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration between business units, ensuring that both prospective and existing SaaS solutions meet the unique requirements of each unit and align with overarching organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication among diverse business stakeholders, promoting a cohesive approach to SaaS technology implementation that supports cross-functional objectives.

5. SaaS Financial Insight and Cost-Benefit Analysis

  • Understand the financial implications of business processes, contributing to cost-saving opportunities and conducting financial evaluations of SaaS product subscriptions.
  • Contribute to the cost-benefit analyses and assess the Return on Investment (ROI) of SaaS products, collaborating with various business units, finance and IT to align product strategies with financial goals.

6. Innovation and Market Awareness:

  • Stay abreast of emerging SaaS technology trends and their potential impact on business unit requirements.
  • Identify, propose, and drive innovative opportunities in business processes, leveraging market trends and best practices to drive the adoption of innovative features within our SaaS product portfolio.

7. Governance and Compliance:

  • Contribute to the establishment of a governance framework and policies for business processes and SaaS product usage across all business units.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance standards and regulatory requirements in product design, development, and deployments.

8. Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee and manage the lifecycle of SaaS products within the business portfolio, aligning them with changing needs, and ensuring adherence to market trends and user feedback.

9. Project Management:

  • Spearhead end-to-end management of strategic Business Applications SaaS projects, driving planning, execution, and deployment or enhancement of SaaS products and optimized business processes.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional project and product managers, and occasionally with vendors, to ensure timely achievement of milestones and successful delivery of project objectives, promoting streamlined project execution.

10. Deployment and Change Management:

  • Plan and oversee the deployment of optimized business processes using suitable SaaS technologies, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Assist business units in deploying and adopting SaaS products, facilitating communication among stakeholders during changes in business processes or SaaS product features.

11. Release Management:

  • Coordinate the release of new or updated processes and product features, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and communication.

12. Strategic Vendor Partnership:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with SaaS vendors, acting as a strategic liaison to align business needs with vendor capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand product roadmaps, enhancements, and upcoming features, ensuring that our business objectives align with the evolving capabilities of our SaaS partners.

13. Vendor Communication and Alignment:

  • Effectively communicate business requirements and user feedback to SaaS vendors, facilitating a two-way dialogue for mutual understanding and collaboration.
  • Ensure that vendor partnerships are aligned with our user-centric approach, fostering a shared commitment to delivering solutions that resonate with end-users.

14. User Experience Enhancement:

  • Collaborate closely with end-users to understand their needs, pain points, and feedback related to SaaS applications and business processes.
  • Implement user-centric design principles to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring that technology solutions align seamlessly with user workflows.

15. Training and Adoption Strategies:

  • Develop and implement effective training programs to empower end-users with the skills and knowledge needed to maximize the benefits of SaaS applications.
  • Formulate adoption strategies to drive user engagement and ensure a smooth transition during the deployment of optimized processes and new product features.

16. Feedback Loops and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish feedback loops to gather insights from end-users, enabling continuous improvement of SaaS products and business processes.
