<div> Skills And Responsibilities <ul> <li> Install and update fire alarm systems in commercial buildings</li> <li> Program fire alarm systems, perform inspections, test alarms, and troubleshoot or </li> </ul>document any issues <ul> <li> Test, troubleshoot and repair alarm systems already in place</li> <li> Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code</li> <li> Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues</li> <li> Respond to emergency service calls</li> <li> Maintain a clean and safe workspace </li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li> High school diploma or GED certificate</li> <li> NICET certification preferred – Level I, II, or III (requires prior experience or training)</li> <li> Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72)</li> <li> Experience with commercial and residential systems</li> <li> Troubleshooting skills</li> <li> Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.</li> <li> Frequent use of stairs, climbing and descending</li> <li> Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time</li> <li> Valid driver's license</li> </ul> </div>
