Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable Engineering resource to join our Life Sciences team in support of a pharmaceutical client here in the United States. This individual will be responsible for working as part of a multidiscipline project engineering team with previous HVAC design and construction support experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the HVAC and Fire Protection Design as part of a multi-discipline projects team.
• Generate detailed scope of work packages for HVAC contractor for tender/procurement process.
• Coordination and supervision of HVAC contractor(s) during construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget.
• Assist with specification and procurement of air handling units and similar types of equipment.
• Review project scope, budget, and schedule.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience required preferably in a pharmaceutical or engineering environment.
• Requires familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD. Plant 3D also preferred.
• Design experience with HVAC systems for control of space temperature, humidity, particulate, and airborne contaminants.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
