We are seeking a Lead Instrumentation Technician with experience in nuclear power or process industries to lead the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation and control systems. This role provides hands-on technical leadership while ensuring compliance with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, flux, radiation, and analytical instruments)

  • Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues in operating facilities

  • Supervise and mentor instrumentation technicians and coordinate daily work activities

  • Ensure work complies with plant procedures, quality programs, and regulatory requirements

  • Support commissioning, outages, upgrades, and corrective maintenance activities

  • Maintain accurate calibration records, as-built documentation, and test reports

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an instrumentation technician in nuclear power or process industry environments

  • Strong knowledge of analog (4–20 mA), digital, and smart field devices (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, etc.)

  • Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical procedures

  • Strong safety culture and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with nuclear QA programs, work control, and clearance/tagging procedures

  • Leadership or crew-lead experience in an industrial facility

  • Two references from employers.

  • Two references from members of teams led by the applicant.

Compensation:

Compensation is $50.00-$58.00 hourly with 1.5x overtime eligibility.
