Get to Know the Team
The GrabPay Team oversees, shapes, and drives the strategy and growth initiatives of money movement for the Grab ecosystem in the Philippines. The team is at the forefront of digital innovation, focused on simplifying payments through secure, seamless solutions like e-wallets, card payments, and digital banking. The team drives decision-making to ensure major initiatives create the maximum value for the Grab ecosystem, whether by driving down costs, generating incremental revenue, or providing the best payment solutions for our stakeholders, including merchants, drivers, and passengers.
Get to Know the Role
You will help develop Grab's payments strategy for the Philippines. Your main focus will drive the adoption of GrabPay and cashless payment methods by understanding consumer behavior and trends. You will support projects around payments processing and facilitation, identifying new opportunities to reduce the cost of acceptance for Grab.
You'll report to the Head of Grab Financial Group. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will create marketplace programs to drive consumer adoption of GrabPay and cashless payment methods.
- You will help develop strategic our priorities based on internal and external analysis, which may involve building financial models and leading actionable functional deliverables.
- You will collaborate with product, tech, operations, and other stakeholder teams to provide data insights to improve the payments infrastructure for the Grab platform.
- You will conduct analysis and planning of strategic topics, using problem identification, structured problem-solving, and advising on implementation.
- You will independently work with analytics and other relevant teams to develop business metrics, analyze performance, obtain applicable insights, and communicate progress and improvement across the organization.
- You will create reports and presentations for leadership that communicate trends, patterns, insights, and forecasts with a well-structured storyline.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have at least 8 or more years of experience in strategy, consulting, F&B, or a technology-related field.
- You are passionate about solving problems, with expertise in data analysis to identify causes and important patterns.
- You are proficient in Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and SQL.
- You are proficient in R or Python.
- You have at least 4 or more years of experience using AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- You have experience in banking, FinTech, or consultancy.
