The team shapes and grows Grab's business by contributing to the vision of becoming Southeast Asia’s super app. The team provide everyday services that matter most to consumers in the Philippines. The team develop and implement business strategies that help achieve our vision of serving the community. The team believe in creating mutually beneficial collaborations with corporate partners to enhance their business offerings and positively impact the lives of customers.
Get to Know the Role
As the Account Management Team Lead, you will support our account management team in growing the business while also training the team to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs). Your role involves building strong relationships with merchants, managing their performance on GrabFood, and developing a high-performing Account Management Team through leadership, coaching, and technical and commercial knowledge sharing.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- You will build and maintain partnerships with merchants, managing their performance on the GrabFood platform.
- You will lead, coach, and support the Account Management Team, ensuring team members are equipped with technical and commercial knowledge, and fostering a transparent and motivating work environment.
- You will stay updated on market trends, industry changes, and competitor activities to revise and develop strategies that meet market demands and merchants’ needs.
- You will develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by GrabFood.
- You will support the team in achieving and exceeding KPIs by developing and implementing effective strategies.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You will Need
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales management with a proven track record of success and strong team development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and matching them with GrabFood’s resources.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a successful sales or account management team, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Good understanding of relevant industries, including payment products, customer dynamics, partners, and merchants. Experience in the F&B industry is an advantage.
- Ability to stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
